How does it work?

No symptoms? You can use this website to request a free test for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV, and syphilis. This includes self-tests you can do at home.

If you do have symptoms or you'd rather go to a clinic, this website can help you find somewhere near you to take an STI test or be examined by a nurse or doctor.

Request an STI test

Request a free test online for four STIs: chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV, and syphilis.

This service is available for people who don't have symptoms and who are eligible for publicly funded healthcare in Aotearoa New Zealand.

  • Chlamydia

Get a free self-test posted out to you. Or do a free test at a laboratory.

  • Gonorrhoea

  • HIV

  • Syphilis

Do I need an STI test?

Lots of STIs don't have symptoms, so people don't know they have them and don't get treated quickly. This can lead to serious health problems. Get tested regularly to look after your health - and the health of your whānau, sexual contacts and partners.
